      I give this .5 stars because it was just so child friendly. I have never flown an airplane in my life and this is the first plane I bought and I was able to fight with ease, especially with the gyros one thing that’s a little weird is that when the batteries die it just falls from the sky but if you’re flying, it should have a nice gliding speed so it won’t like damage it, it is very durable like very very durable. If something doesn’t work at first, just unplug the battery and plug it back in and that should fix it. If it doesn’t you have to dig a little deeper also, I love the shipping time. It will come a week from when you buy it. I love it so much and I highly recommend if you want to get a plane for your kid or for you if you’ve never flown a plane before. And even if you have, you can put it in the expert mode and fly like a professional.

      this plane is really well built, it was my first plane and within my first five flights I got it stuck nearly at the top of a tree and I thought I’d never see it again but after two weeks of being beaten up by wind and rain in the tree it finally fell down but the whole front of it had fallen off. I didn’t mind I was happy to have it back so I tried to put it all back together with some hot glue and now it flys just like it did when it was brand new. I have no idea how it survived since it still had the battery connected and it rained really heavily during the time it was stuck so I give the plane a 10/10 for durability as well as it is super fun to fly so I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to give the RC plane hobby a go. ps take the amount of room you think you need to fly it in and triple it so I’d say a football field or a park with basically no trees. (trees are your enemies)

        Q: Expert mode - uncontrolable I´m not beginner. Plane behave in Begginer and Intermediate mode as I expect, but in Expert mode without gyro stabilization is almost uncontrolable - I tried to set it by Trim buttons at least for stright flight, but plane always climb up (like too much Elevator). After switch to gyro assist mode it is good again. I know what to with normal "big" radio, but not with this one. Could somebody advice, how to set the plane for Expert mode? I expect it will be wild and sensitive. thanks

        If the plane is climbing in Expert mode it is probably not calibrated flat. Try to get the plane flat and go through the calibration in the Manual....

        There are options to order the 2 battery or 3 battery version. I have the 3 battery version. Two of the batteries arrived in the battery compartment of the transmitter, and the third was in the plane's battery bay.

        Q: Just received this but the screws used to fix the landing gear and wheels in seem to be too big. Didn't want want to force it in, in case it broke the plastic. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

        I agree. Attaching the gear is difficult. I suggest bracing your wing at the edge of a table so that you are not crunching the rest of the plane when you bear down on it. Using a larger Philips screwdriver than is supplied, will give you more leverage and torque to force the screw into its hole. The tightness will help to keep it in place. I also suggest VERY carefully bending the gear so that it angles forward, but BE CAREFULL not to push too close to the anchor point. I broke one gear wire off this way. The wire is very brittle. This will help avoid nosing over every time you land, even if it is on pavement. Lastly, I found my plane was SIGNIFICANTLY nose heavy. Solution: tape and hot glue a nickle (5 cent piece in US) which weighs exactly 5gr to the bottom of the tail just behind the vent hole. Now my plane is optimally balanced on its CG and flies extremely well. Still need to improve my skills in expert mode. Cheers. Jim

        It comes ready to fly, and it’s small, much smaller than the majority of the other planes I have, but it is quite durable as it has crashed a number of times and keeps getting back up in the air, but for its size and weight, there’s not much force when it does crash. The only concern is with the prop breaking, which it still hasn’t done yet.

        remember: the main motor is brushed.... any change in blade means more load for the motor that short its life. .moreover I didn't find an easy way to replace the motor without destroying the beautiful fuselage. Putting aside this you have to adapt the propeller saver that pops out

        Q: Why were all the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews with negative comments deleted? There use to be quite a few near complaining about fly-aways, and other issues only a few months ago. Now only the positive ones remain. Very dishonest.

        Actually there is no dishonesty in this instance. The old reviews refer to the old version of the receiver board which had no motor failsafe when signal was lost. All the new versions of the V761 board have motor failsafe, therefore the former bad reviews no longer apply to the models being sold here.
