      I received the electric RC glider Volantex Ranger Pusher in its original box, and
      inside a black plastic bag. The model is well designed with a pleasant loock. But unfortunately the left front wing was damaged, the flap was deformed, and torn partly because of blows received during transport. Dear Bangood SAV, I think it would be advisable to ship the airplanes or gliders, protecting them with a second, stronger carton, and filling the interior void by foam, or polystyrene flakes.

      Very simple to fly. Good performance. Plenty of internal space. Good for FPV long range flying. I have equiped it with Matek F722 Wing, Predator 4 camera, Matek Air Speed Indicator, and Matek GPS.

        This battery could work, but not for very long. It is in fact a bit too SMALL, not too large. A better choice would be a 3S between 3500 and 5000 mah. And be very careful to make sure you have the right ESC and motor for a 4S application if you run the 4s battery.

        These require a transmitter with four main controls: power, ailerons, rudder, and elevator, plus extra channels for the flaps, and an additional channel for the second aileron. So, six channels, and the receiver needs the same, or more of course. Most transmitters with this number of channels will have the range required, a few hundred metres or so. These days all transmitters and receivers perform adequately, which is why some of the people suggest you choose one to suit yourself, there is a wide range available. On this site, you can find the well regarded Teransis in various forms, choose the cheapest. On other sites you can get Graupner MZ-12 or Multiplex Cockpit, and these perform very well. At the top end choose Jeti, sets that are built for the best long-term use.

        I believe the model comes ex-factory, with analogue servos. If you're buying the kit, you will need to supply your own servos, so you can buy digital and fit those yourself. However, digital servos won't make that much difference to the performance of a model like this. It would be better to invest in metal-gear analogue servos, particularly for ailerons and elevator.

        There is very little actual difference in these planes in their performance under throttle due to the similar materials, design, fuselages and pusher (rear-mounted) powerplants. The 757-8 is narrower with a contoured wing and has a much more buoyant glide characteristic. The 757-8 can operate like a glider: gaining lift from thermals, having a really really low stall speed, longer flight times, etc. The 757-3 is much more spacious inside the fuselage, has a more of a conventional wing and can fly faster under the same conditions, and do some slightly more acrobatic flight. The 757-3 has tall landing gear which is important if you want the option of mounting a gimbal underneath. Loaded up he 757-3 is heavier, but comes with a slightly larger motor. Both can mount a camera on top. Both are awesome at producing amazing FPV experiences!
