      This is great value and quality RC plane, comes almost complete you just need to glue the wings on, with the glue provided. Everything else is installed and set up, the clever flight stabilizing receiver is even already bound to the supplied transmitter and comes with battery, spare prop and even batteries for the transmitter. it's completely ready to fly you don't need anything else and yes the 1s battery is more than powerful enough (idid think it was a printing error but it's not).
      There are preinstalled lights which you thread neatly into clear strips on the wings and are very effective, even flashing when the battery gets low to let you know it's time to land.
      All in all this is a great beginner plane, able to take off and land on water grass or hard surfaces. It's very well made and durable and flies really well, fast and safely and for the price it's a must have for beginners or experienced pilots who just want an easy switch on and go fun plane.

        he hinges are very stiff and hard for the small servos to move. Remove the servo arms and then you can flex the surfaces to free them up. I very carefully cut into the hinges and that made them much better. I found the folding prop is out of balance and replaced it with the same size well balanced 3-blader.and it flies very smooth and quiet.

        @ Nigel Race. Your answer does not pertain to the item being sold here. The only plane of this plan-form that currently comes with a 1-cell battery is the little orange 2-channel twin brushed motors one. This one here is a 3-channel land-sea-air plane (the Rudder is mechanically linked to the Aileron servo) with a single brushless motor and uses a 2-cell 1000mah lipo battery. There is also the larger HLK 31 sea air land plane that is 4-channel and runs a 3-cell lipo and can also be GPS capable.

        Q: will a 3s 1100mha 35c fry the esc or motor? It's not under powered with the stock battery but it is slightly tail heavy.

        We have flown this plane with several different weight 2 and 3-cell batteries without any problem. I wouldn't go berserk with WOT on 3s but ours have not had any problems yet after several weeks. The stock 2s 1000mah battery must be placed right up the nose for correct balance. Heavier batteries can be placed in the main compartment under the canopy. It flies a little shakily in wind but takes off and lands with ease!

        Ialso fly with a 3S 900mah battery (fast flying) or a 2S 2200mah battery (normal flying). The battery is attached with Velcro in the middle part of the aircraft where it is perfectly balanced.
